I looked on the paperwork it said nothing about the wattage. Only it did say "Brightness" can be chosen of intensity of light from 01-09.

Is there a gel for the electrical current setting or something? I mean “it should t be” or “you’re not on the lowest setting”

No gel . Just black caps or peg to apply to the inside of the mask for comfort .

Is there an on and off button?

Yes, there is a timer to set time 0-60 minutes, or you can take it off and push button (timer)down.
