My certified refurbished lens arrived in bubble wrap without a box or warranty. Is this typical for a refurbished product?

A Nikon certified product should come in a plain box so labeled, and as mentioned, include a card from Nikon with its serial number stating the 90 day warranty. My lens was bubble wrapped, in a well fitted plastic bag. Without the card from Nikon, my gut would be thinking used, or almost even worse, gray market... Nikon USA will not even touch a GM product. Good luck.

Will this len work with Nikon D3500?

Yes it will. I still own this lens which is my primary lens. I started out with it on a D3500. Works very well with that camera. It’s bigger than the camera but works great.

Does this lens have focus ultrasonic nikon silent wave motor (afs) as does the full price new item?
