I had some of this coffee backin the early 90s when we had art house coffee places galore amdAt thatTimeI thought it was pretty good. And I had it Puerto Rican friends at a restaurant one night. Also inThe 90s Back then Itwas the same andThought ok Good coffee! And maybe atThe time it was some ofThe best you could get. So fast-forward 32 years later I’veRefined my coffee drinking and know that I only like a handful of coffees. Dark darkCoffees with complex notes.So I bought this can of Bustello recently. Made some French Press and that kind of grind they don’t do. Strike 1Strike 2 then the flavor profile is not complexAt all. Seems like a single bean coffeeAnd strike 3 IT’S JUST NOT ADARK ROAST. UPON VISUAL AWARENESS THE COFFEE IS A MEDIUM COLORNOT DARK Roasted. Taste is average. Mediocrity at its finest. I prefer very dark complex roasts. This ain’t it.Sad I only like A Few very serious dark coffees and no matter what I try andSay it’s about 3 coffeesOut thereThat do anything for me lol.
