My son loves this! He's all about Planets and Space and this was the best thing for him!

1st. Make sure that you have working batteries. Because the thing is very sensitive to just 1 battery being low. 2nd. The off button is the filled in section of the spanish/english switch. En is English, Es is Spanish. Make sure to press the planets on the purple disk to get it to operate the voice. 3rd. If the light isn't coming on, but the voice does, make sure to line up the pins for the base and stem and press them together tightly. If they aren't tight, then the light will not turn on. 4th. You need to have the projector on the table or some elevated surface about table height to get a clear picture. Otherwise, it's a cute display toy which you can add stickers to. It also has 3 projector disks that are interesting to switch between.

I bought this solar system toy for my daughter because the concept is great and very educational. The idea of a talking model and planetarium projector is fun, and it definitely sparked her curiosity about space at first. However, in practice, it wasn’t very practical for regular use. Setup took some effort, and it didn’t hold her attention for long. While it may be nice as a short-term learning activity, it didn’t end up being something she reached for often. Overall, it’s an okay educational toy, but not as engaging or user-friendly as I hoped.

I decided to write this review simply to point out how durable this toy after owning it after almost 3 years of continuous use. At the time of purchase, my 5 yo boy was obsessed with the solar system and this quickly became a favorite. The interest in the solar system has had its ups and downs but has remained present for the most part and with it, the regular use of this toy. We are amazed mostly at how it has held up given that while my son (who again has used this from age 5y to almost 8yo now) plays with it as it is probably intended, our 3yo daughter has become interested in it too and is much more rough with it and the toy still holds its shape and functions. Two of the longer purple arms have very slight bends on them i.e. Uranus and Neptune; the paint is barely scratched at all, the electronics work fine (although neither of them were ever too interested in that feature). All in all, our personal experience is this has been a very sturdy and durable toy

The product components were not according to the description. For starters the stems for the planets were 7 instead of 8. There was 1 disc instead of the 3mentioned in the description and some of the planets were not aligning together. My son was greatly disappointed and this was meant to be his present as a top achiever in his grade

Este juego es excelente para el aprendizaje de los niños, cuenta con ilustraciones y sonido informativo sobre cada plantea ideal para los niños que tienen interés de conocer más sobre nuestro sistema solar. Al mismo podrán aprender un poco de inglés ya que viene en este idioma y español.

Fue regalo para un sobrino de 4 años y lo amó!!! Lo ama tanto que lo cuida y tiene en buen estado. Hace "rotar" los planetas al rededor del sol, le pone atención a la info que dicen los audios y sabe perfectamente qué es cada imagen que proyecta el miniproyector.

Item received is similar but not exactly like what is advertised. I haven't opened it as it's a gift, but looks far inferior in quality than what is advertised. Looks like something I could have got for less than half the price at a local China mart.

Mis hijos aprendieron en una semana muchas cosas y la proyección nocturna que tiene es de super buena calidad. Les ayuda a aprender en inglés todo respecto a los planetas.
