Grabbed this to replace the disher we've been using at the pizzeria for portioning meatballs and cookie dough, the old one's spring was shot and it wasn't giving us consistent scoops anymore. Quality feels commercial grade right out of the box, the 18/8 stainless has some real heft to it instead of feeling like a flimsy kitchen gadget, and the scoop edge is sharp enough to cleanly cut through cold dough without dragging. Sturdiness has held up well through a few busy nights already, no wobble in the mechanism even after being dropped in the sink a couple times by accident. Ergonomics and grip are where this one beats what we had before, the handle sits comfortably in the hand for repetitive scooping and the trigger doesn't get gummy or hard to squeeze after it's been in dough or cheese for a while like our old plastic-handled one did. Ease of use is straightforward, the release mechanism pops portions out clean without needing a second scoop to bang it loose. Only complaint is the size stamp on the handle is small and starting to wear off already, hard to tell at a glance which scoop size it is when we've got a few different ones hanging in the same spot. Reliable, consistent scoop that's holding up fine to regular kitchen use.

These batter scoops are fantastic and have quickly become some of my most-used kitchen tools. I have been baking for a couple of months now and this cookie scoop has been fantastic. As someone who used restaurant grade, this feels the same as the Volrath version without the cost. It size is perfect for making cookies and small biscuits, and the release rate is excellent. These are designed perfectly for right handed folks. I'm left handed and I have to use my left index finger to activate the lever. Everything just pops right out when you run the scoop under warm water between scoops. The handle grip feels solid in my hand and the quality is excellent, definitely built to last. I paid around $10 for it and it is a great value for the money. Durable, easy to clean, and simple to use, this scoop works exactly as intended.

Wonderful. Perfect for regular sized muffin tins.

I used it once and it broke. It wouldn’t stay screwed together and I ended up losing a piece to it. Do not recommend.

I have only used this scoop once so far to make peach muffins. The handle makes it easy to hold and it is easy to operate. It is lighter weight than some of my other scoops. It did work very well scraping out all of the batter, however, this batter was not very dense, so I will be interested to see how it will work with a denser batter and its durability. But so far so good.

My wife was looking for the exact size scoop, 1/3 cup for her various chocolate chip cookies. This scoop provides size and ease of use when proportioning the dough on the cooking sheet. Cleanup is easy. Quality built
