I put up a full double roll of thick textured paper and used about 2/3 of the the bucket. Need to stir it really well to get the liquid mixed in. Worked well, no off putting smell and easy to spread. Recommend.

Great wallpaper paste
I used Zinsser Sure Grip wallpaper paste for a recent project, and I was really impressed with how easy it was to work with. The consistency is smooth and spreads evenly without being too thick or runny, which made applying it much less messy than I expected. It gave me plenty of working time to position the wallpaper correctly, but once it set, it held everything firmly in place with no peeling or bubbling. I also appreciated that it didn’t have an overwhelming odor, which made the whole process more pleasant. Cleanup was simple with just warm water, and I didn’t have issues with staining or residue. Overall, this paste made what could have been a stressful project feel very manageable. I’d definitely use it again and recommend it to both beginners and experienced DIYers.
