What is the diameter of the lid? Will it fit onto other pots?

9 and 1/4 inches. Doesn't fit on any of my other pans. It could, but the pan also has to be deep enough for the Stir Stick that is attached to the lid.

OK to use on electric ranges?

I don't see why not... It's just a regular pot with a special lid that stirs the popcorn kernels. Might be a bit slower than a gas range and I would imagine you'd have to physically remove the popper from the stovetop as soon as the popping is done or risk burning the batch (as the temperature/heat source on electric ranges do not decrease as quickly as a gas range).

Is this made in china or the usa?

Hello Ewenice. The parts are made in China and then assembled in Indiana at the Wabash Valley Farm facility. Regards, Chuck Crawford SolidFuel Sales LLC
