Does it filter fluoride?

does this unit require any external filters which have to be purchased? If so, how often?

It has an internal filter already. I did add one to my unit before the unit but it really isn't necessary. The internal filter is supposed to be good for I believe 5000 liters. (Don't quote me!)I just looked up It is liters...

can i install it under the counter? if so, does it comes with plumbing kit or I have to buy separately ?

Both the 7 and 9 plate versions can be installed under-sink with the kit available from the vendors website (airwaterlife.com/supplies/)The unit uses relatively standard PEX 1/4 tubing but does need ability to drain the discharge water (hence the 2 nozzled above-sink adapter shown in the kit - one nozzle for dispensing, the other connectes to the discharge drain hose.) Also need a 120VAC power outlet source under the sink,
