Great shears!
I bought these snips to trim metal vent screens and it worked great! Blades cut very easily and shears were comfortable to hold. I like that they lock for safe storage. Great value!

Excellent choice
I really thought metal credit cards would put up a fight against these snips but they worked flawlessly, seared right through them like warm butter! The slightly serrated edges make for very smooth and swift slicing. Highly recommend.

IRWIN 2073113 Aviation Snip [Straight]
These Irwin aviation snips are nicely made and have been working well for my needs. I use them for trimming and notching various gauges of flat sheet metal stock, duct and metal hanger strap. They also work well for trimming off recessed light frame rails for rough-ins when they are too long to fit between joists or strapping. Same thing for metal studs and device box rails. The snips are approximately 10-inches long overall will make nice smooth straight cuts for trimming edges and corners of flat stock. I can also smoothly cut back 4-inch metal duct on dryer vent and bath fan vent hoods if I unsnap the seam and lay it out semi-flat while cutting. Overall, these snips are decent and holding up to regular use so, I would buy again when needed.

Decent for low cost shears
It's sharp and cuts well, but is a bit uncomfortable to use.

CUT WIRE WITH EASE !
I have cut yards of rabbit wire with a pair of "wire cutters" and it took me forever and killed my hand ! I ordered these wire snips and THEY ARE TERRIFIC !!! I still have yards of wire to cut, but these cut like I'm going through butter! I have cut more wire in 30 minutes than I cut all day and MY HAND ISN'T KILLING ME! Another testament to have the RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB !
