ZLKSKER 6 Inch Adjustable Lockable Steel Divider Wing Leather Compass

Nicely engineered piece of kit with a great, spring loaded mechanism. All metal, locking nut and thread. Nice and sharp. Plenty big enough for my leather making work. Adjustable and accurate. Interestingly, the tool is great but I needed a fork lift, a blow torch, a submarine, an old priest and a young priest to liberate it out of the plastic packing. I "enjoyed" doing that so much!! Thanks.

Not sturdy, too flimsy for scoring sewing lines on leather, kept as a spare

does the job with leather as wanted some for marking up and marking sewing line. Just over 7 1/2 inches in actual height but easier to handle and hold. My only Cavet is that will have to keep eye on them and clean them as they will probably rust if left lying around for a time. The mechanism is stiff but just squeeze together and can easily adjust bolt, better stiff than loose and not keeping ficked space.

Great heavy duty Calipers, Exactly what I wanted

Whilst I am sure there are better built dividers on the market. I only needed a divider to mark out dovetails evenly and didnt want to spend a fortune. These do the trick very nicely. Tip: coat the dividers in wd40 when you get them as I believe these are made of mild steel and are likely to rust if not kept coated. Overall very happy with my purchase. Would recommend

The adjusting screw threads are misaligned, and the whole adjustment/locking part is very wobbly, making accurate sizing difficult.

Misaligned points. Build of the product feels great but the misaligned tips make using this tool feel terrible. Unfortunate.
