Purchased after a educational class for up to date information. Have used serval times in my every day job as a reference on current practice.

This is my 3rd update - i am an RN of 30 years but also just purchased one as a gift for a friend who is intelligent and medically curious for herself and others - invaluable - lets you know symptoms, diagnostic tests, latest recommended treatment/med regimens, etc. You will be able to know if your practitioner is doing their job and optimizing your outcomes.

Standard text for treatment of medial issues, in general more detailed than the online resources.

Bought this at husbands request. Good medical book for physicians reference in office situations according to many physicians.
