Creativity Street Big Box of Chenille Stems, 150-Count, Colors May Vary (AC5547)

Okay, I admit it. I bought these for my cat, even though he doesn't smoke a pipe (that I know of) or do crafts. But he LOVES these; I bend the edges down so no wire sticks out, twist them into a spiral, and the cat has a toy he can bop around, bat at (seriously. I toss it, he bats it) and play fetch with (also seriously. And he initiates it, especially if I'm doing something else. Like working on my computer. See photo.). Strangely enough, the brand does matter. When I first got him I had some of these leftover from a previous cat, and he loved them. When I ran out, I just purchased any brand here on Amazon, and he wouldn't touch them. They were lighter in weight and I didn't think he liked the feel of the fabric. I even bought him some of the plastic springs that are allegedly actual cat toys. He wouldn't touch them. It's a good thing Amazon keeps ordering records for as long as they do, so I could find his preferred brand. And the wonderful thing is that he can lose dozens of them beneath sofas, or on my chest when I'm sleeping, or in his water dish, or in my slippers, but it doesn't matter, given the price and the quantity.

I used these to hang expensive plates from the wall. I realize this is not the intended purpose, but I love it. They do twist easily and the connection is solid. I was worried about damaging the plate, but the chenille ends that concern

Nick, our cat, is a simple practical New England Yankee fella and just happens to be a jolly indoor cat. He ordered these pipe cleaners on his own. Yup, the guy knows the ins and outs of late night online ordering. As pipe cleaners go -- he particularly prefers Kraft pipe cleaners to the pipe cleaners used for cleaning actual pipes. Imagine his surprise when his Mom needed to show her drivers license to purchase" pipe" pipe cleaners at the local Rite Aid. .She was told it was a state law. Well, as usual, Amazon to the rescue! Nick likes to get his exercise by chasing curled pipe cleaners around the house. He wanted soft, fluffy and colorful pipe cleaners and the more the merrier! The Kraft Jumbo Chenille Pipe Cleaners are perfect and Nick is purring with happiness and delight. He loves Amazon! He is already getting his Amazon shopping list together for Christmas. He wants to take care of his other rescue cat buds.

I bought these for my two grandsons, ages 2 and 5. I have always loved art projects that let children just do...whatever. This is one of those projects. Fun ideas are included with the box, but just watching and listening to the creative minds of young ones is exciting. I just saw a post where you can give the child a kitchen colander and the pipe cleaners and let them thread the holes. What fun!!!

They looked rather shabby. Will not purchase again!

They're fine, they helped keep my 18 month old quiet on an airplane (I hate watching parents give their kids iphones to play with, use your imagination and interact with your kid!)

Each pipe cleaner was full and fluffy. The kids I gave it to loved it. Great buy, great price. Dont fall for the cheaper brands- even though you may be tempted by the price and quantity. There are other brands that sell pipe cleaners....for 20$ for 1000 of them, something like that; however, the pipe cleaners look a lot cheaper, not as tall and not as fluffy.

Oh. My. Gosh. Who needs video games? We took these on a loooong road trip and they kept my 7 year old busy for hours. She had constructions hooked all across the back seat!! Bravo for simple things that inspire creativity and don't even break the bank. These are great quality and lots of nice colors and even come with a fun instruction/idea book.
