I’ve struggled with performance-based living all my life. God allowed this weed to grow with the wheat of my writing ministry, but He finally decided it was time to separate the wheat from the weeds. I know this book wasn’t available a year ago, but I’m glad God put me through the fires of His glory, so He could burn off the counterfeit to Grace, which is a sin-focused rather than Christ-focused work of the flesh that looks religious and good but is actually sinister and destructive. This book has verified what I suspected God was doing in my life, and it has encouraged me to continue the process of claiming my righteousness in God through Jesus Christ and not my own behavior and works.
