I loved these books as a child. I received the second one (yellow) as a child and read it till it fell apart. I still remember the story. I couldn't believe it's still in print. I didn't even know it was part of a series. These are great for reading aloud with your young child or for independent readers 2nd grade and up.

Ich habe diese Bücher auf Englisch gekauft, da ich als Kind eine deutsche Ausgabe hatte von Band 1. Da ich erfahren habe das es mehrere Bände gibt, wollte ich alle auf deutsch kaufen. Leider gibt es momentan keine deutsche Auflage und gebraucht habe ich keine gefunden. Also habe ich diese Englische Version gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit!

So I personally find these stories silly,but they are not for me. I have tried reading my daughter a few series like, harry Potter and Narnia but she has not responded to anthing the way she does to these books. She actually asks for more. She asks to read during the day. This is unpresadented. Thank you.
