Great bang for the buck
I don't write reviews often but I feel these deserve it. It was my wife's idea at first since she has an online business and works in one of those "Amish" built bldg's we bought just for her and I'm a remote worker. It's easy to just pick up and holler for me than to call or text. It's also easier then yelling across the house asking where the dogs are and all that. That and our granddaughter loves using them. Wife bought some radios off Walmart but the batteries didn't last long and they seemed overly complicated. They just didn't cut it and Granddaughter already destroyed one by getting it wet. I'm not tech adverse but this is one time where simpler is better. Two knobs. One on/off and volume; the other for channel. There are 16 channels total which you change with the other knob. When you turn it on, it will tell you what channel you're on. The squelch is auto suppressed but has a button you have to hold down to override that. When you let it go, it's suppressed again. The flashlight comes in hand at times as well. There is a way to send an "SOS" signal b y pressing a couple buttons but we're not concerned about that. Wife and I did a range test. I live in rural West Virginia but luckily nuff to be on a road over a mile long with little elevation change. I made sure to get out of my car every-time I called for a radio check and was clear as a bell for over a half mile. That's through the woods and a couple neighbor houses. After about three quarter mile and about 10ish foot elevation drop did it start breaking up. So using these around my property is not a problem. If you're looking for a reliable walkie talking with good range and simple to use, then I doubt you can go wrong with these for the money.

Excellent Range and Perfect for Home & Emergency Communication
These walkie talkies have worked out great for us. We mainly use them as an intercom system between our house and outdoor man cave, and the sound quality and range have been excellent. Communication comes through clear without issues, even from a good distance away. We also gave one to our neighbors for emergencies, and it picks up perfectly between the houses, which gives us extra peace of mind. The battery life has been solid, they were easy to set up, and they feel durable while still being lightweight. Overall, these have exceeded our expectations for both everyday convenience and emergency communication. Definitely a great value and highly recommended!

Perfect for staying in contact
These walkie talkies have been really useful and are simple to operate. The sound is clear, the range has been good for what I need, and having multiple units makes them convenient when everyone needs to stay in contact. Great value for the set.

Great hardware, Don't use in the USA without reprogramming
To start the hardware is hard to beat for the price. The downside is it comes out of the box not using FRS frequencies that are needed for unlicensed users in the US. I ended up downloading CHIRP and buying a programming cable then re-programming them so I can use them legally. Funny part is before I knew this I forgot to turn one off and a local Texas Roadhouse is using these out of the box on CH1 so I heard their wait staff across the street. PROS: - Cheap - durable - Long Range - easy to use - accessories are included - FCC Listed - can be re-programmed within the UHF band (Note: license needed for non-FRS frequencies in the US) Cons: - needs to be programmed - cable not included

Great For Kennel Work!
We purchased 8 of these radios in 2024 and were impressed enough to purchase another 4 in 2025. They have held up far better than we expected. We use them daily in a busy dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, so they get dropped, bumped, and heavily used throughout the day. Despite the wear and tear, they've remained reliable and continue to perform well. The battery life has been solid, the sound quality is clear, and our staff appreciates how easy they are to use. We utilize them between two facilities located about 50 feet apart—one fully brick building and one brick/vinyl building—and have experienced no issues with communication between the buildings. The only downside for us was the included earpieces, which we didn't find particularly comfortable. However, there appear to be alternative earpiece options available for purchase. Overall, these have been a great value and have exceeded our expectations for durability and performance.

A Great Alternative to Giving Kids Their First Cell Phone
We bought these for our kids to use while riding their bikes around the neighborhood and visiting friends. We wanted them to have a little more independence while still being able to stay in touch without giving them cell phones, and these have been a great solution. We've been using them regularly for several months, often multiple times a week. They get used whenever the kids head outside, whether they're riding bikes, playing with friends, or just spread out around the neighborhood. We live in a housing development without tall buildings, and we've had reliable communication at distances of about 1–2 miles, which has been more than enough for our needs. The audio is usually very clear and easy to understand. Every now and then we'll get a little interference, but it's not common, and we rarely hear any static. The rechargeable batteries have been a big plus. My kids have carried them around all day without running out of power, and we simply put them on the charging dock each night. I much prefer that over constantly replacing disposable batteries. They're simple enough that my kids figured them out quickly, and they haven't needed much help using them. The radios have 16 channels, include earpieces and a built-in flashlight, although we've mainly used them as standard walkie-talkies and haven't needed the extra features. They've definitely been dropped more than once, and they've continued working without any issues. One thing I didn't expect is that several of our kids' friends have the same radios, so they'll occasionally use them to check in with each other while they're out playing. If you're looking for a way to give your kids a little more freedom while still being able to communicate with them, I think these are a great option. They've worked well for our family, and I'd recommend them to other parents who aren't quite ready to give their younger kids a phone.

Great purchase
Very good quality! The instructions of use was super easy. The belt clips provided make it easy to transport them handsfree. With the first charge they have lasted a long while. They connect really easily and the range on them is pretty wide. Theres no static that gets picked up. It even comes with a function button that has a flashlight that strobes
