MakeTheOne Old School Style Bike Speedometer in KPH Analog Odometer Classic Style for 24”-27.5” Bicycle

With so many reviews lots of great ones and some not so good, I thought I shared my findings ordered I ordered two of them one my bike and wife's I tested them on the wok table and one did seem tighter to tun than the other . What I did was used my 3 in 1 oil on both and they both spun freely (very freely) put on normal and work perfect so, my suggesting is oil everything the bottom part where the spokes turn then the cable then the speedo with 3 in 1 oil and your good to go! so you know the bottom gears are plastic and need the oil or probably why some had no problem once it wears in.. or others that had problems.

I installed the Old School Bike Speedometer on my 26-inch bike. It was easy to install, and it works just fine. It will keep my motivated to ride my bike.

This item could have been OKish if the instructions on the box were not grey letters on a brown background. Yeah, and I missed that the thing is in kilometers. No verbiage in the initial blurb…or in any verbiage, anywhere. Funny joke, MTO. Good one. Oh, and I could only install it on the left side of the wheel, as the sprocket interfered on the right side. Naturally, the thing is set up for the right side. Hooked it up, and the mileage, or rather kilometeriage, went backwards. So….I took apart the plastic sleeved cylindrical tube and reversed the cable (fun fun fun task). It now actually works. Something rather pathetic is the speedo gauge bracket that’s supposed to easily attach to the handle bars. Another good one. Couldn’t get the screw aligned with the holes when trying to employ that cute little skinny screw, so…..forced a wood screw through the one hole and into the other, it’s secure now. But, the final gag was its NOT resettable, as described in the added description. That really got me tickled, as I damn near rebuilt the thing and proudly handed it over to my wife. Heh, she said, ‘WOW! I’m going 60 miles per hour!’…as she nonchalantly peddled away. After further review, I then saw the Km/h on the gauge. Didn’t have the heart to break it to her. Then we looked for the non-existent reset button. We not only get to transpose kilos to miles, but we get to write down the starting miles of where we left off. Hilarious You guys are so muther effing funny What else ya got, bathroom scales in kilos? I’d get that for my wife too Should be uproarious

Use on my motorized bike. Seems accurate so far but time will tell how well it holds up. Seems higher quality than others ive seen Update: 62 miles on it now. Just fine. Still looks and works fine.

Takes less than 10 min to install on bike...love the old school look it gives to my electric converted bike.

I liked how easy it was to install. I put it on a gas powered motorized bicycle and I had to replace the metal piece that spins around with the wheel once but that was after about 700km on the odometer. I’ve dropped the bike on its side and crashed it with the speedometer on it and it still works so it’s pretty tough other than it being scratched up from hitting the road.

Works perfect, no issues with the product.

Easy enough to mount and I put it on a 700 wheel so though it might be reading slightly off it does give me a pretty good idea of how fast I am pedalling and it looks pretty awesome on my classic Dutch bike.
