Amazing filters

I have a deep well and it has a lot of iron and sediment in the water. Its bad enough that with out filters it will stain laundry orange and the bathtub would be orange colored to the point that you couldn't see the bottom of the tub. When we would shower the water would smell slightly metalic. I installed this set of filters and it made a world of difference. The water is clear and doesn't smell like metal. They don't affect the pressure until they start to need to be changed. Obviously it depends on how much your water needs to be filtered down but we can get around 3-4 months out of a set. Definitely worth every penny.

Very good filters. I purchased the set of three filters for my well water and they have preformed as good if not better than flters that were much more expensive! I get a lot of residual sand from my well so I always know the filters a good if the first filter, which is for sediment catches all of the sand and it has consistently stopped the sand from passing through to filter number two. Also, some filters tend to reduce the water pressure at some point during there life cycle. These bad boys have remained consistent throughout which is a good thing as my tankless water heater doesn't kick in if the pressure is reduced too much. Not a big deal but, I did have to refer back to the product listing to verify the order of the filter placement on the rack as the packaging did not indicate the installation order. A few notes on replacing these filters and in general: 1. Make sure the water supply is completely off before starting. I've been soaked before when the valve was almost closed! 2. Be sure to push the pressure relief buttons prior to removing the filter housings. It's much easier to remove them without the pressure. 3. Wipe out the housings with a small amount of bleach on a paper towel and rinse thoroughly to sanitize after handling the new filters. Rubber gloves would also be helpful. 4. Run the water for a gew minutes afterwards to clear the carbon and any other excess particles before using the water. These filters should last for deveral months and provide crystal clear water!

Great for filtration of heavy metals. Use it for the lead line house feed.
