Multifaceted Tool!!
Perfect portable telescope for traveling. I personally use it for sightseeing and star gazing but could easily be used by a professional in many different ways. I was shocked to learn that this could alo be used as a camera lens when attached to your phone.

Absolute Garbage - Not like advertised
Very disappointed in this product. If you ran across it, you probably saw their ads. Do not waste your time or money. I tried this out for 5 minutes and immediately returned it to Amazon. The quality and crispness was nothing at all like the ads, and it's so very clear to me now that those were heavily edited, because I don't even get remotely similar images. In their ad, they showed it getting clear images over 1 mile away. I could barely get a clear image 500ft away. They also showed some neat images of zooming to the moon and seeing the craters. Nope again. Not even close, even with a smartphone zoom. Their ads are completely misleading and this is complete garbage. Read the other reviews, which will back up this opinion. So disappointed. I just briefly looked at the star rating but didn't actually read the reviews prior to ordering and I wish that I had because this is just complete garbage and a waste of time. Hopefully my review will save you your time, because mine is lost.

Good handy product
We have a large telescopes, but to set that up for view will take 5-10 mins, but we can just pick up this one & view in a few second; very handy. However, the magnification is not as great as it appeared in the description & blown up image of the full moon; for the money, it is worth it for magnifying items couple miles away to view more details.

Not horrible, REALLY not for photography.
Is it worth the money? Yes and no. That's going to depend on what you're using it for.Need to identify something at a distance or want a better look at the full moon? This is fine for that. Optical quality is not good enough for photography, especially if you're going to enlarge and print. The scope: Works okay. Only two adjustments, one for eye relief, one for focus.Unless you use digital zoom, which reduces quality, the scope leaves you with a circular image in the middle of the phone's rectangular screen. Using digital zoom to fill the screen reduces image quality even more than the mediocre optical quality of the glass in the scope itself. The "Tripod": This thing is just plain junk. The Mount: I tried with and without the phone cover. It sort of worked without the cover. Way too flimsy. Trying to tighten the mount to the point where it won't move made me feel like the plastic would crack. This leaves it so the mount doesn't hold the scope reliably centered over the smartphone camera lens or at a fixed distance from the camera lens, so the camera is constantly trying to focus. I had to use the mount extended fairly far from the clamp to prevent the clamp from pressing power and volume buttons on my phone, which made the mount more "flexy". Speaking of focus, camera focus is only as good as the actual focusing with the scope itself.

Junk
No quality in the product-none.Poor optics. Abilities greatly over rated.Would be a disappointment even at a discount bulk store. Hard to get sharp image in distant viewing. Magnification is waaay over estimated. Might be good for bird watching, if the birds are on your porch. Even at this price you are over paying.I really wanted this item to perform up to description. Nope

Starscope
I thought it was smartphone-compatible but found out it did not come with an attachment for a smartphone but otherwise, it has a terrific view. It doesn't have night capabilities.

This Starscope is cheaply made and does not last.
I have had the Starscope about 18 months. The lens is/was glued in and came out after light use. I had not used it in at about 6 months. When I removed the lens cover, the lens was out of the scope. It had been lightly glued in and it appears that the glue dried out.Do not recommend purchasing.
