Where is this tofu made? china? japan? the us?

It is made in the USA by Morinaga-USA. I am Japanese and I could not tell that this was not made in Japan.

Can i keep the unopen boxes at room temperature for few months?

Yes. That is what makes this one of my favorite products. It is there when I need to use tofu. Good smooth texture. A better choice than taking chances on freshness of "use by date" refrigerated tofu. I have been burned by high priced hard-to-find from grocery stores only to open a spoiled, smelly, moldy tofu.

Shipping goof: my mother ordered a case of tofu for me, and i received a single 12-oz. packet. any suggestions for how to remedy the situation??

Where to find the use by date before buying? I bought a 12pack box in april that had a use by date of june.
