Approximately how many shampoos does this last?

For me it lasts between 8 and 10 shampoos. About two weeks. But I am hopingthat continuous usage will tint the hair permanently to some degree. It is very mild on my hair and I like it. I was told by Cosamocustomer service, that the tint will stay in longer the more I use thecoloring. So far I have been using it about 3 to 4 months and I am happy with the results. If you use the medium brown, there is a tendency for a slight lavender shade that lingers in the gray before you dye it again. But it is not that noticeable except in direct light. So now I use a golden brown color with much better results.

Has anyone else who used Medium Brown had someone tell you that your hair looks purple in the sunlight? Am I leaving the product on too long?

Left it on for 20 minutes without a problem. My daughter who also has brown hair left it on for 30 minutes and her hair had a purple cast to it.

Does the medium ash brown shade fade to purple on white hair or just a light brown?

Medium ash brown has never faded to purple on me, but just to a lighter golden brown in streaks around the front which I actually like. It's the best hair colour I've every used.

Has anyone used just 1/2 the bottle and if so, has the shampoo's lasted as long as using the whole bottle? I have short hair, whole bottle is to much.

My hair is medium-short and thin. One bottle lasts three times.

It does the job well, though there is one issue.

I have dull medium brown hair with maybe 30% grey. It worked fine for me and is lasting well (several weeks, with an average of two washings per week). The grey hair is now golden highlights, and the brown hair is slightly deepened and more interesting! My only complaint is that this shade, as well as an ash brown I used previously, gave a green tinge until the first couple of washings. The ash shade was definitely more green than this golden blonde shade, but it's a bit off-putting. Not off-putting enough to make me stop using it, though! I'm so glad this non-permanent color is available and affordable.

Really disappointed that I cannot get Loving Care and that this similar product did not work. Not sure what else to try.
