I need to protect a pressure wound on my ankle bone. Will this come up high enough and forward far enough to cover an ankle bone?

These were used to protect a pressure wound on the heels. It worked! Covering the ankle may depend upon the foot size and width. Have very narrow feet so product covers ankle. The strap is at the bend which may not secure the proctector for ankle. Did podiatrist (doctor who recommended it be used) recommend? If so then it probably will work.

Will these work for elbows?

I believe that it could work for feet and elbows because of how they are made.
