The only way to goโcomplete kit with everything you need
If you are doing intake manifold gaskets on a Chevrolet Silverado 1500, this Fel-Pro kit is absolutely the only way to go. What sets this specific kit apart is that it doesn't just stop at the main intake port gaskets. It comes completely loaded with the extra pieces you actually need to finish the job right, including the throttle body gasket and a full set of fuel injector o-rings. Having those extra seals included saves you from making separate trips to the parts store or reusing old, brittle rubber. The quality of the materials is top-tier, the fitment is perfect, and it completely cures the common unmetered vacuum leaks these engines get. Highly recommended package!

Best cathedral port intake manifold gasket kit money can buy
Genuine felpro intake manifold gasket kit came brand new sealed in original felpro packaging, felpro intake kit #MS98016T is the best intake manifold gasket kit you can buy for cathedral port LS and LT engines. This kit comes with the updated HD style intake manifold gasket that installs onto the cylinder head first rather then the old style that clips onto the bottom on intake manifold first. This kit also comes with new throttle body O-rings for both 3bolt gen3 style throttle bodies and 4 bolt gen4 throttle body, also comes with EGR gaskets, PCV o ring and 8 injector o-rings. There are many knock off brand gasket makers that copy this exact kit out there but you will never beat felpros R&D and high quality gaskets and o rings. The only gasket manufacturer Iโve been using on all my rigs for many years never disappointed one time!

Well Made robust Gasket set U.S.A.
Ausome, well made gaskets. The felpro intake gaskets also comes with the throttle body gasket ( round one and rectangle) for bolth designs not shown in the pictures. I am replacing the China aluminum black gaskets that only lasted 2 years. The fel-pro are more robust, made in the U.S.A. and I think they will last alot longer. My symptoms were rough idle when cold start, lean condition, multiple misfire. Then it ran fine after it warmed up. Spraying brake clean around intake made little to no difference. It runs great now about 3 days after repair, starts right up and idles and runs great. Make sure you take the throttle body off and dump the oil out of the intake manifold. I am putting an oil catch can on to solve that problem. I got at least a cup of oil out of mine due to the pcv. system. 2000 gmc yukon 5.3 slt. LS1. in Texas

Better than OEM
My 03 Chevy Tahoe was running/idling rough due to air leaks in the intake manifold gaskets. It was especially noticeable when it was cold outside. If you do a little research you will find that this is an extremely common problem with the 5.3 liter Vortec LS motor. After some searching I found these Fel-Pro gaskets which had great reviews and seemed to be a quality OEM replacement. After purchasing and installing these gaskets I can tell you that they are much MUCH better than the OEM replacements. These gaskets sit in a steel bracket, as opposed to plastic, and sit straight to the top of the motor as opposed to the OEM gaskets that clip on to the bottom of the intake manifold. The rubber gaskets themselves seem to be thicker and meatier than OEM. My original gaskets made it 130K miles and based on the sheer difference in quality I expect these Fel-Pro gaskets to last an additional 200K miles before needing replacement. If you are replacing your intake manifold gaskets do yourself a favor and spend the nominal difference in price to purchase these Fel-Prop gaskets to avoid potential head aches down the road. Also, if you are performing this job yourself I have a few additional recommendations. One, purchase and replace the two knock sensors while you are replacing the gaskets. The knock sensors are pretty cheap and they are easily accessible while the intake manifold is removed. It would be a real pain in the a** if you had to remove the entire manifold a few miles down the road when a knock sensor inevitably goes bad becuase you were to cheap to purchase new sensors. I bought the following knock sensors from AC Delco http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K02EDG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_12 and they work great. If you do replace the knock sensors I also recommend getting a new wiring harness as the old one will most likely break when you try to remove it. I purchased the following knock sensor harness: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007H8DKJG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11 . Overall it took me about 4 hours and $160 to remove the intake manifold, clean the area up, install two new knock sensors and one wiring harness, install the new intake manifold gaskets, and install a new throttle body gasket. The stealer ship wanted $550 just to replace the gasket alone.

More included
I wish there was a better description of what this came with. It has the throttle body gasket, injector O rings and a few other items included in the kit that I already bought. Appears to be well made and was easy to install. Hopefully it will resolve the common issue of leaking intake gaskets that are common with this motor.

Fel-Pro is the gold standard
Did a top-end restoration on my Chevy 6.0 gas. These were part of the job and were an excellent fit and have performed well. Always go with Fel-Pro.

Una mejora a los originales
Quedan perfecto y son una mejora considerable comparados con los originales, estos al ser de metal no se deforman como los originales de plรกstico.

Awesome gaskets
Very strong metal gaskets , strong secure fit when pressed into position , makes intake and gasket change on the LS motor a little easier

1st attempt at it...took 6 hrs over 2 days but a perfect fit and fix
2000 GMC Sierra 5.3 LTE Z71 212000 miles... I had a lean code on banks 1 and 2 on cold starts and a lumpy idle... several sites suggested it was a leaking intake manifold gasket...as you can see by the attached picture its likely the original gasket that was leaking...it was filthy with several obvious dirt tracks across the sealing surface... so this was my culprit. It took a lot of cleaning, vacuuming and scraping to get that crap out of there but when done it was glorious (wish I'd taken a picture). Anyway I had to dig the dirt and grease and sand off the bolt heads that the gasket slips over but when done the gaskets "snapped" into place. They are considerably more robust than the GM ones with lots of silicone. After reassembly and checking every fastener 3 or 4 times (I didn't want to go in there again). I was done. I cleared the codes and TADA perfect smooth start and no codes on cold start ... which btw is now -37c. I suggest strongly watching several DIY videos on YouTube.. I wouldn't have even tried without watching several. I'd rate it about a 6 out of 10 on the difficulty scale and a 8 on the testing your patience scale...
