Is it painted blue or genuine blue glass.

Thank you for your inquiry. The bottles are made of genuine blue glass.

What is the diameter of the bottom? I need them to sit on a narrow window sill.

They are almost 4" diameter. May be a little large for a narrow window sill.

I purchased two cobalt 32 onz and loved them. one of them, the bottom just opened. it was not hit, it seems defected. can you replace it?

I would contact the seller and ask for a replacement. Most want happy customers not anyone to give them a bad rap!
