Perfect deep cobalt bottle for sun water. It's quite pretty. I would put on dining table for extra water. Not too heavy, easy to handle and pour. Very well made. Likely ordering a few more.

This is a really beautiful, solid bottle. I love the cobalt blue- very calming. Nice, thick glass, and holds a good amount of water or any fermented beverage- about 4 cups. With cap securely on, it is leak proof (I tested it). If leaving a full bottle of water out in the sun, I would recommend either not closing the bottle or leave a few inches up top if closing the cap or keep the cap loose. In the sun/heat, it will expand and can crack the bottle if pressure builds up inside from expansion. I also watched a short video on how to properly get the cap on these grolsch flip-top bottles. I tried to post it on here, but Amazon would not post my review with an outside link. Just look it up. You have to put some muscle into pulling down the lever (do not worry it will not break,) and it will work perfectly fine. In time, it will get easier to open and close. At least, it is very secure. Overall, very pleased with this bottle and would purchase again.

Great bottle! As others have said, it was VERY hard to open and close it the first time, but after that hurdle, it opens and closes very easily on all subsequent tries. I personally could not open it myself the first time, and my husband had a hard time as well, but now I can easily open it and close it on my own. It's a very pretty bottle, and is great for storing my kombucha. Also a great price.

These bottles should be removed from inventory due to design flaw in the seal that makes it impossible to close them. I'm not going to waste energy shipping them back since the cost was so low and they are not usable for anyone else who might end up with them. They looked perfect in the photos and looked great when they arrived but after more than a hour with two people trying to make them close properly, it is clear the metal brackets were built backwards and there's just no way to correct it.

I use the Home Brew Ohio Cobalt EZ Cap bottles mainly for storing water in sunlight, and they work perfectly. The cobalt glass feels strong, seals tightly, and keeps the water fresh. The EZ cap is very convenient and leak-proof. Simple, durable, and great quality bottles. Highly recommend!

Quería una botella para solarizar agua y esta opción me pareció ideal por el costo y el tamaño, me llegó en perfecto estado, viene bien protegida de los lados y la parte superior, solo no me gustó que en la parte de abajo solo viene papel de la marca misma y solo eso, si hubiera sido golpeada de esa parte o dejado caer la caja no creo que hubiera aguantado, deberían tener más cuidado con eso. Feliz con mi compra, es grande y cierra muy bien, solo conseguí un escobillon de bebe para lavarla ya que el que tenía para otras botellas no entró, pero si te la recomiendo.
