Just OK
I say this is just OK for two reasons:The first is cost. They weren't too bad at $5.95 for 16 darts, but then when you look around at other Nerf dart offerings, those are hard to justify cost-wise. This is one of the better deals, and I wanted genuine Nerf darts as opposed to buying a Chinese knock-off that may not work as well. The second reason is the whistle feature, which intrigued me. To be honest about that I'll admit that I can't hear any whistle sound, likely because I have 62 year old ears and went to too many concerts back in the day. However, my wife and son say that they can hear it whistle, so I'll trust their verdict on it.I probably wouldn't buy this again since whatever whistle it does make is very subtle, and I'll just keep looking for deals on the blue Elite darts which I prefer.

Whisper... er Whistler Darts
I use a modified Retaliator with a spring that doubles the power of the gun, and a Strongarm that is similarly modified. When I fire these darts from the modified blasters, there is an audible high pitched whistle, but the volume is low enough that during a spirited battle the sound can easily be dround out.The main advantage of these darts is that they have the heaviest tips, and tend to have the most true flight paths, as opposed to elite darts which veer off wildly.I should mention that to use them in a Retaliator or other magazine loaded blaster, you must first charge your blaster with standard ammo, then drop one whistler into the barrel to use the loaded dart to propel it out or it will get stuck in the blaster's chamber.Overall still a good purchase, but more R&D to make the whistle louder would be much appreciated.

Works great for some guns, but be sure you verify compatibility before purchasing (Doesn't work in Nerf CS-18 N-Strike Elite)
The only reason I dock this down a star is because they don't work in my Nerf CS-18 N-Strike Elite Rapidstrike. I assumed that since they are both branded as N-Strike that they would be compatible, but they are not. The rubber whistle tip will not slide in the magazine, and even if you place it at the top, the rubber is too rigid and large to fit into the gear driven firing mechanism in the barrel. They do work great in my Nerf N-Strike Elite Triad EX-3 Blaster. I love the whistle sound as they fly through the air. It is almost like a tracer round. Many times the victim won't hear the normal Nerf darts, but these make it fun as they hear the dart whistle past their head.

They're Darts
These are darts. About half the package was damaged on delivery, and they don't shreik like other darts I've come across from nerf. I think the seller should seriously consider putting the darts in another type of packaging, as they were crushed on delivery. About a quarter of the darts cannot be fired, and all but a couple do not shriek. I would still recommend this product, as they're darts - and that's about what I expect from darts. Darts people, I can't expect wonders.I wouldn't say they're ... educational? As darts aren't really a toy, but a toy accessory. They're over all durability is ... low. But again DARTS, they're just cheap plastic darts.

Lots of fun
Just briefly: These darts work with many if not all models of N-Strike guns. They tend to jam a little in the model of the Maverick that we have (originally shipped with suction darts that are slightly narrower), but I know that there is a Maverick model that ships with whistler darts too. They still work, just not as smoothly. Also, as with all of these Nerf products, I highly recommend wearing glasses of some kind when you're playing. I don't think they'll put your eye out, but they hurt really, really badly if you ever take one in your eye at short range.

Its Darts and they Whistle
The Darts were perfect for my Nerf Gun. I don't have time or the money to get the elite dart guns. Besides they don't whistle like these. The color really pops out around my house. The rubber tip is just the right consistency to not hurt if you are hit with it, but still funny when you hit other people with it. The only con is that there was still a sticker price on the package which was lower than what I paid for it. If you need a 16 package of darts that whistle this is a must have.

Buy lots of these.
They're darts- what more do you want? They're quick, the whistling is fun especially when you're trying to dodge, and the orange color means that it's a little easier to find these in places with dark furniture/carpet.That being said, like almost all nerf darts, it's easy for these to get bent, broken or just otherwise destroyed in normal use. Be gentle with them if you can, or be prepared to buy replacements often.

Much better than standard darts.
The rubber "whistler" head is a little heavier than the standard darts so they fly straighter and farther. The "shreak" the darts make as they zoom through the air is pretty cool too. The rubber is non-marking and haven't caused any damage bouncing off the furniture and walls inside the house. These should fit most revolver-type or single shot nerf guns but check first. The whistler head is slightly larger in diameter than the body of the dart. So, these won't work in guns that use a stacking type magazine.

Whistler bullets - they do whistle if fired over long distance!
These can be hard to source (haven't found them in supermarkets unlike other Nerf bullets) so I was pleased to find them online. They were not especially cheap and took an age to arrive but they are played with constantly so worth the wait.

Whistler Cartridges for Nerf Shotguns
Great product, youngster loves them and has already lost a few so will probably be ordering more soon, just wish the price could come down.

Utilissimo!
Come scorta di proiettili è davvero utile, mio figlio prima mi chiedeva aiuto per trovare i proiettili di continuo, ora gioca più tranquillo e li cerchiamo solo quando li ha finiti tutti.
