Not super powerful since it's battery-operated, but reaches places where conventional floss can't.

I replace the tip as soon as it starts showing some wear, usually around 2 -3 weeks of daily use.

am I able to put mouth wash instead of water on this device when I use it?

Although made by "waterpik" it does not use liquid. It is a 1/2" piece of stiff floss that rotates, and is inserted in between teeth. I found that it tickled too much, like torture, and could not use it. I have a regular waterpik device and I do put mouthwash/water mix into that. Hope this helps.
