Creating Mandalas: How to Draw and Design Zendala Art Paperback – December 3, 2015

I am so happy with this book. It is a wonderful tool for learning. It has sample basic shape practice sheets. (I copied them for my own use.) If you have no experience in making mandalas, this is the book for you.

The drawings are pretty! Good instructions for making zendalas.

Not as detailed as I had expected. A lot of super easy and obvious ideas, not a lot of technical information, which is what I wanted. But okay.

I am interested in zentangles and doodles and recently, I started to became curious about drawing my own mandalas. I looked for a book and found this one. I loved the instructions and pictures. The author made it seem easier to do than you think! (Coloring books make it seem ocerwhelming a bit if yoy want to draw one, in my opinion. lol) Great starting point, simple tools to begin with. Good buy for any blossoming artist!

Loving playing with all the designs in this book! Great for someone like me who is just learning.

The book did not stay open to work on the practice pages. She did not show how to make the templates.

This is a fabulous book for a beginner like me. I have done some zentangle drawings recently. And yes, we had done some simple “Mandala drawings” using the compass and coloured with crayons. But at that time we did not know the term “Mandalas”. Coming to the book, it is beautifully illustrated with step-by-step instructions. There are practice pages for you to draw and lots of ideas to help you create your own Mandala design. I would recommend this book. Thank you Amazon.

Fabulous book - the most helpful one I have bought so far - clear instructions and wonderfully illustrated - I cannot recommend this book high enough for a beginner like me.
