Don't waste your money on this item. It takes 2 hands to remove the lid and still very hard at that.You almost have to use a screwdriver to pry it open. The Q-tips only fit at an angle, otherwise the lid hits the tops of the swabs...too short in height. The diameter is too small, you can only fit around 30 pcs max in order for the swabs to lay at an angle, because if vertical, lid won't fit. I'll be sending this back for sure.

The perfect Q-tip container!
I love it! It is e perfect container for Q-tips. It totally covers the entire Q-tip standing upright. The one I had before didn't.The lid fits snug on it, so in case it was accidentally knocked off the counter, the Q-tips won't fall out of it. At least with the one I got. But, it's a 2 handed job to get the lid off, I just set it on top in order to get out a Q-tip one handed.This IS an excellent container!!

Nice holder, but lid is too tight
I bought this for my wife to keep her Q-tips on her vanity counter. It's an attractive little container, but it's just a little short for them. The main reason I gave it three stars is because the lid fit so tightly, I had to grab the container with one hand to pull the lid off. I spent a while with an emery board sanding the inside of the lid before it was loose enough to be able to just lift it off. If I hadn't had to rework the lid I would have added at least one more star, and maybe forgiven it being short and given it five stars.

Nice ear cleaner dispenser
Overall, this is a cool product. I bought 2, since I usually just have 2 open cartons of qtips in two rooms and wanted something nicer and closable.The only reason I have this 4 stars was because of the size. I stuffed both of these full of qtips, only to realize that the lip on the bottom of the lid (which is tight-fitting to keep it on) will not close when the jar is packed. I had to remove qtips so that when i installed the lid, it could push some out of the way to fit. An extra 1/8th of an inch would have alleviated this issue.
