Great product!
I installed the sensors and they are working well! Installation was very simple and easy. Connectivity was a breeze. Great value for the money and is keeping the perimeter around my home safe allow me to know ahead of time if my property is breached/trespassed! It provides excellent notification and since I have more then 1 all of them have different specific sounds/tones which allows me to understand in advance which area of my perimeter has been trespassed. Yes, they are loud enough. I purchased more of these sensors since I happy with their endurance. Will purchase again!

Exactly what we needed for our farm
We Love this driveway alarm. We have a U shape driveway around the house, so we installed one on each side of the house close to the driveway entrance. I was surprised to find that we had a different bell tone for each side which lets us know which direction the vehicle came in and goes out. Extremely easy to install. I am a 70 yr old woman and was able to do it myself. Easy instructions to set bell tones and volume. I was concerned we wouldn't be able to hear it thru the house, but it can be set very loud, if needed. The alarm is very responsive the sensor triggers the receiver right away, not sure about the battery life. We just installed them recently. I am very happy with the purchase.

Affordable & Reliable Motion Detector
This little guy works fantastic. Only had for about a month so far and no issues. I live in SW Arizona and we're coming out of our summer but still have 100+ degree days. So far this guy has survived rain and heat up to 106. I'm sure it'll be fine during the winter. We'll see how it performs next summer. Heat out here can get up to 115-120 with some humidity. This motion sensor performs great and has a wide variety of alert sounds and 3 different volumes (low, med, high & silent). Highly recommend.

Poor performance
Received this motion sensor in a couple days ago and waited to install it. Once I did I was eager to find out how well it worked. While testing the connection in the house it seems to be very sensitive and work really well. The volume control worked just fine and the variety of sounds is awesome especially one that specifically says driveway. I noticed that different sounds repeated while other sound did not. I also noticed the volume on some sounds were louder than others while still on the same volume setting so I picked a none repeating sound and low volume. I set it up before my wife left and when she drove out of the driveway... the sensor picked up nothing, no lights no sounds. I was severely disappointed. I moved the Receiver to another part of the house closer to the driveway and had my son signal me when I walked through the driveway if it went off, and it did. I then moved the receiver back to its original spot and again it pick me up walking by it. I will need to do further testing with it to see if I can fine tune the sensitive. Not sensing a vehicle at less than 10ft is a huge failure. I'm hoping it's a fluke. The receiver is less than 100yards from the sensor which should be within range. Truthfully I can see the end of my driveway from my front window but I wanted this as an early warning system in case I was distracted or busy around the house. Not sure the quality range battery life or value of this product until it proves it can detect vehicles at 10ft. Apparently, it can detect a person but not vehicle which completely defeats the purpose of this item. Again, will have to try different things to make it work. So far I'm severely disappointed but purchased this driveway sensor based of reviews. Most appear genuinely good however my experience has not been so far. Will update If this proves to work better soon. Missing vehicle going through the drive is a huge upset. ** update after a few days the sensor appears to be working as design. Adjusted the volume and tested it when my spouse left and returned and when an Amazon package arrived it seemed to work just fine. Overall satisfied, hoping it holds up cause it's been in the rain the last couple days and other reviews mentioned element damage they are water resistant not water proof.. we will find out.

I'm actually impressed...
For the first time in a long time, I'm impressed by a product I purchased from Amazon. When I read the units were rated for 1/2 mile, I laughed a little and said, "yeah right." I have a 450 yard long driveway, which is roughly 1350 feet. I am in a rural area and have already placed a solar operated gate half way up my drive, but still get people coming to my gate quite often. I placed the first camera 750 feet away from the two receivers I have in my home (one top floor and one ground level). The 2nd camera is roughly 500 feet from my home, then the 3rd is approx 400 feet from my home. All three sensors work as expected. The receiver is very loud on level 4, so there is no problem hearing either receiver. Connecting the sensor to the receiver was a breeze, plus adding the 2nd receiver was also super easy. I picked three different tones for each so I'd know which sensor was being tripped. At approx 400 feet my Arlo cameras kick in, so I don't need any of these right on my house, but if you have a long driveway and want notification of wanted and unwanted visitors, this unit doesn't disappoint. The biggest test is going to be false alarms. We'll see how that plays out in the long run and I'll update this post as-needed.

Awesome worth every penny
Have purchased 3 sets for 3 houses. No internet needed. Half mile distance is super and spot on. Love love love my owls. I think you can hook up to 32 different receivers with 32 different notifications. Never has failed me and my battery is going on year two. Will buy again.

Well, that was an unexpected nightmare!
DON'T order this alarm unless you are willing to "drill bigger holes" in the back of the sensor in order to be able to install the attachment that holds it to whatever you are mounting it to. When I first took the alarm out of the box, I thought I was going to like it. I plugged the receiver into the wall outlet and checked out some of the tones, found one I liked and set it to that one, and then I put batteries in the sensor, and closed up the back of the sensor with the cover. So far, so good. But then, when I went to screw on the next attachment to the back of the sensor, I noticed that the screws that were meant to attach that part were TOO BIG to screw in. They kept getting stuck mid-way and would not go in any further. I didn't want to force them since it seemed that they were going to strip rather than go in the rest of the way. But it couldn't be left with those screws only partially in since that part of the unit was now just shaking around, not having been tightened on all the way. So, I asked "Alexa" on Amazon's website a question: "What do you do if the screws are too big to attach the hardware onto the back of the sensor?" Alexa's answer: "DRILL BIGGER HOLES." Yeah, right????? I don't think so! (And then, what would you do when that fails? Try to return the unit to the manufacturer mentioning that you "drilled into it" to try to make the screws fit????? I'm sure that would have gone over well!) No way was I "drilling into the product"! Here is Alexa's full response when I described the issue with the screws, and I quote: "This is a known issue with the HTZSAFE Driveway Alarm. Since the screws are too large for the holes, try these workarounds: 1. Drill larger holes: Use a drill bit slightly larger than the screw diameter to enlarge the plastic holes. Start with a small bit and size up gradually to avoid cracking the plastic. 2. Use the sensor without mounting hardware: The sensor has a ball-socket stand on the back — you may be able to simply place it on a shelf, windowsill, or post without using the mounting screws, as long as you can position the sensor to face your driveway. 3. Contact HTZSAFE support: Email [email protected] with your order details. Many customers report the company responds quickly with replacement mounting hardware or solutions for this specific screw issue." Re: Alexa's advice: 1. Why would you want to "drill into the product"? Especially considering that some people who had reviewed this alarm mentioned that the sensor was already not waterproof, that it had filled up with water and, as a result, no longer worked. Wouldn't "drilling into the back of the sensor" more-than-likely cause that potential water issue to get even worse? Not smart. 2. Regarding the option of "using the sensor without mounting hardware" and Alexa referring to the sensor having a "ball-socket stand on the back" so "you may be able to simply place it on a shelf, windowsill, or post without using the mounting screws"... the "ball-socket stand" was the part that won't screw onto the unit because its screws were too big! So, how are you expected to use it as a stand when you can't even get it on????? 3. And regarding Alexa beginning by saying "this is a known issue with the HTZSAFE Driveway Alarm" and later stating that the company "responds quickly" with replacement mounting hardware when contacted... if the company is obviously well-aware of this problem, then why don't they just FIX IT????? Wouldn't it be easier for their customers to be able to just install the unit, rather than having to contact them regarding an ongoing, known problem and then wait for replacement parts????? That is NOT very considerate of this company! They shouldn't be in business if that's only how much they care about customer satisfaction. What a disappointment this turned out to be. I wanted a driveway alarm to put at the end of my driveway to alert me if someone was approaching. But I guess it's not going to be THIS ONE! I didn't feel like going through all the trouble of contacting the company and then waiting (who-knows-how-long) for them to send replacement parts. This is going back immediately for a refund.

4 years going strong
I have owned this driveway alarm with 2 sensors for 4 years now and I love it. Well beyond worth the price I paid for it. I have a wrap-around driveway, so I placed 1 sensor at each end of it. I was able to set a different alarm tone for each one, so I always know which entrance someone (or something) is entering. I live in the woods and this alarm gives me a heads-up for delivery drivers, unannounced "visitors", and animals going after my trash. My northern New England climate gets very cold and snowy in the winter, and neither of those factors have impacted the functioning of this alarm. It will actually even continue to detect despite the sensor eyes of the owl being full of snow. I use lithium batteries in them and I've only had to change the batteries twice in the 4 years I've had this alarm. The only downside of it is that it can cause some false alarms sometimes, but this could also be because it's detecting small animals or birds. It's rare and really not bothersome to me. For what I paid for this system, I am beyond satisfied with its performance and longevity.

Fantastic alarm.
This is a great driveway alarm, with excelent range, it's much better than the previous one which was supplied by the alarm company. It has a vast selection of tones to choose from and the indoor 'owl' figure lights up as well as the sound, so you really can't miss it! Well worth it's low price. Quite good fun too, seeing the owl eyes flash!!

The best product that I have looked for
I need this product for protecting animals literally for dogs, mine is a open space roof type of parking space and this street dogs come and play at night and damage the car cover if I have put them on else scratches the car bonnet and do lot of damages looking for something I have no idea, I have spent more than 3 covers because all of them damaged, costed me more than 7k, I tried to get the motion detection sensor added to the car to scare the dogs but now it’s not available in markets as it is banned by the government, I tried to build something using PNR sensors those litterly gives sounds for any motions at night, after a long sleepless nights I found this product at Amazon this does not work like PNR how ever it works based on hear signals so only a living or a hear source will trigger the signals not the motions, it is so precise for what I need and signals and sounds and really great even the reactive time is excellent, you will see the quality of the product when you touch them good quality of plastics. I liked it works really well, if ordering from India make sure you have suitable adopter it’s in US type plug the receiver. It is a not a PNR that has wide focus it’s like a mono focus where the eye is pointed it will only sense from there, but it is easy to point the eye, since it comes with the ball type of rotation adjustment. I am happy with the product no issues found as of now. Working great Overseas purchase but got the package safe without any damages like regular deliveries.
