No, same black grease but less than 50% of the iodine as in Iodex.

What is the difference between Yodex and the original Iodex?

Yodex has 2% Iodine as the active ingredient. Iodex has 4.7% Iodine as the active ingredient. Due to the amount of Iodine in Iodex, it cannot be shipped internationally. Close but no cigar

Not as much iodine as Iodex, so healing properties are not as good as the original. So after buying 2 Yodex at a reasonable price I had to break down and buy much higher price Iodex anyway, because I needed the one that DID work. Hope the Yodex folks adjust the formula.
