It works great and gives strength to the old leather when stuffing ...
I use Sticky Fabri-Solvy for a backing on leather when I make Teddy Bears out of old coats. It works great and gives strength to the old leather when stuffing the bear. I also use it to reinforce old leather seams so they don't rip a part with the pressure from stuffing. Since the bears cannot be washed (as they are leather) I am safe from the backing dissolving !!
