Waste. The thickness slider moves when slicing and results in uneven thickness. Please do not buy this.

This mandolin has made cutting vegetables for my dehydrator such a breeze Pros: -the blade is very sharp and cut through the veggies fast and efficiently - the handle on the part that helps hold your veggies in place is very comfortable on your hands. It has little spikes on it so that your veggie can stay in place as you slice through it - I appreciate the visual illustration to determine the size of a cut you would like for your veggies, as opposed to a numerical value. It is easier to see exactly how thick I would like something instead of guessing what it would look like. - the thickest setting (as shown in the last photo) is just big enough. -the handle locks into place on the mandolin so you do not lose it while it is in storage Happy with this mandolin!

Terrible. The package was damaged when delivered. Someone has opened the original package and put a defective item back

I've had this mandoline from Oxo for 8 months now. Every time I use it I'm in admiration of its design and execution. I've had maybe four or five different mandolines over the years, big name brands too. This is by far the best. My main point in the review is that it is still working as well 8 months after purchase as when I first used it. Slices well, simple to select a thickness, easy to clean, compact for storage, as safe as a device like this could possibly be. I found nothing to dislike.

Worth every penny. Go for it. Easy to clean sharp good quality handy and it’s like another pair of magic hands
