I bought a condo with a very old jet tub which probably was never cleaned. I have been working on it for months. I can't get a lot of the pieces off or the jets out so this is my last resort to just keep at it using Yuk every week. The mould is dissipating but not yet running clean. I have done three cycles of Yuk so far.

If you’re thinking “there’s no way this overpriced cleaner is going to help. I’ve tried everything!” Think again. I also tried everything to clean the jet tub of our 80’s foreclosure. Some things worked a better than others but nothing made it seem like the tub was all that dirty. I’d you know anything about jet tubs, you know there’s definitely something hiding there. Oh Yuk is pricey but worth it. Get the two pack and make sure there’s ventilation because it stinks.

We bought a house that came with a jetted tub and I feel like the prior owners may have never cleaned the jets. This is the only product to actually get the gunk out. I've been through 5 bottles now and I think we may soon get to the point that we might dare to use the jets for a bath. The first few times I ran this stuff a large amount of yellow brown gunk came out. It required a full tub scrub down every time between uses. Now I'm only getting a small ring so I feel like it may soon be "clean". As for the product itself, it's easy to use since the bottle has measurement marks on the label. Each bottle has 4 uses. It's best to open a window and run the fan when you use this because the ammonia smell is STRONG. When it's time to stop the jets and drain the water, I will usually hold my breath, step in and stop the jets and open the drain, then run out again and not come back until the water is done draining. This stuff definitely works but it may require multiple uses if your jets are really gross.

It really does clean out the Jacuzzi or hot tub. However, I recommend you wear cleaning gloves because the solution Is so strong, it may give you a rash on your hands if your hands are not safely covered.
