The time display is large and crystal clear and visible from far and also in the dark. The date, data and temperature is of no importance to me and they are aptly in small sizes.

Good looking instead of the old round face. Battery means no cord to find a wall socket for. Nice and quiet as well, we could hear the ticking from the old clock in our camper.

Review for La Crosse WT-8002U LCD wall clock: I use this (non-atomic) quartz wall clock as a 24-hour UTC (Greenwich Mean Time) clock for Amateur Radio logbook notes. I like the readable-at-a-glance 2" tall digits, the day of the week and month-day-year. There is no seconds display but that's unnecessary in Ham Radio since +/- one minute is fine. However, if you really want the minutes field to advance close to 00 seconds, try this: Insert the 3rd AAA (alkaline) battery when your reference clock (like Time.Gov) says xx:xx:25, then promptly set the time and date. I found that my clock ended up being set only 3 seconds ahead of Time.Gov (plenty accurate enough) and it hasn't varied at all in 10 days. It took me several tries to discover that 25 seconds past the minute was the right power-up starting point, and you may need to experiment a few times, too. Since UTC isn't affected by daylight savings time, the clock won't have to be set again until the batteries wear out. La Crosse customer service is helpful.
