2 lb - Shea Butter Soap Base, Melt & Pour, SLS/SLES Free

I bought this when I was just starting to experiment with making handmade soap, and I've now gone through multiple batches with it.I'm still fairly new to soap making, but this base has made the learning process incredibly easy.I cut off however much I need, melt it slowly in the microwave, add my fragrance oil, pour it into my molds, spritz the top with alcohol for any bubbles, and let it harden. That's it.I've used it with several different fragrance oils now, and I've been really happy with how my soaps have turned out. The base takes fragrance well, pours easily, releases from my silicone molds without any trouble, and gives me a really pretty creamy, off-white bar.Most importantly, the finished soap actually feels good to use. It lathers nicely, cleans well, and doesn't leave me feeling like I've stripped every bit of moisture out of my skin.I originally started making soap as a little side experiment while I was working on other handmade products.That may have been a mistake.Because now I've made batch after batch, I've got soap molds and fragrance oils taking over my kitchen, and I'm planning more scents faster than I can make them.Apparently I didn't need another hobby, but this soap base had other plans.It's been extremely beginner-friendly, my bars are turning out beautifully, and I've been very happy with the finished soap.

The soap was super easy to work with. Melted easily, even in the microwave. Didn't set up/cool down too quickly. It cooled quickly once in the molds. It took fragrance well. Pretty much checked all boxes through the melt and pour process. It also had no odor like some reviewers have stated.I'm still extremely happy with this soap. It was super easy to use and is really nourishing and healthy for your skin. My skin is on the drier side, and it gets bad in the colder months. I feel like this is going to solve my dry, itchy winter skin.

I absolutely love the Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base! It melts easily, mixes well with colors and fragrances, and sets beautifully with a smooth, creamy texture. The shea butter leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized without being greasy. It’s perfect for beginners and experienced soap makers alike. I’ve made several batches already, and every bar turns out great. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys making their own soaps!

This is indeed the best base to use when making breastmilk soap. It’s the first one I started with and the only one I’ve tried definitely have bought several times.

Product was good, set well. I used the clear glycerine before and in comparison, I felt that this product absorbed the essential oils scent more than the glycerine product. I will try it again and add double the amount oils.
