Perfect fit. Operates correctly. I was uncertain which side of the cables was 'up' but had no other issues.5 Months later the black is wearing off the keys and the back lite is showing through. At this rate (low usage) I expect I will have to replace it far too soon.

This replacement went in without a lot of hassle. It is fully functional including the LED back-lighting. You do have to pay attention to the direction of the 2 ribbon cables however confusing the direction would be improbable due to the length. The middle did not see to fit perfect for me as it was raised just a bit. After using it for a while it seems to have seated better over time. Has basically same feel as previous keyboard.Totally recommend this as it is a cheaper option than going direct to dell.

Works for the most part, but like another reviewer I've noticed that the space key only works if you press it right in the middle. This gets very annoying very quickly as does the sponginess of the board. It doesn't seem to be the correct thickness so it doesn't lay flat and flexes as you type. Save yourself the headache and get the real thing.

Overall it was easy to install and all the keys work EXCEPT the space key. It only works if I hit it right in the middle, otherwise my sentences that I type have no spaces. Other keys, however, seem to be working fine. I'll just have to be extra cautious and double check my spaces.

The keyboard works perfectly the backlight looks great. Good as new.Delivery time was impressive.

Pleased with this replacement keyboard which is sturdy and simple to install. Works exactly as I'd hoped.

About 6 of the keys are a bit bent or warped and don't press properly including the spacebar. So like if I press the spacebar hard right in the middle the press registers, but if i press on the sides it just bends a bit and doesn't actually click down. Really regret this purchase.

We have been looking for a keyboard for over 2 years and the description in the ad matched up. Now I have a laptop back.
