It’s seems some of the reviewers on here have forgotten what the extension speaker is for. “It sounds tinny” ect. The speaker is for CB or Ham use and the frequency response needs to be higher for vocal clarity. It works well and is value for money.

Poor speaker, save your money and buy something decent
I decided to buy this speaker to enhance my SDR listening (My HackRF1 doesnt have an internal speaker), but I was surprised to find that when tuned to a local FM Broadcast station, I got no sound. On plugging in my headphones, there was sound, so I knew my other kit was ok. I have tried this speaker on various appliances which have 3.5mm jacks, and they all are affected by low volume. When you can hear it, there is no depth of sound. I know this may be asking too much of a £15 speaker, but as others have said, save your money and buy something else. I will be buying a Uniden BC20, however you could get a Uniden BC7 7 Watt speaker for £7 more at the moment One to avoid I am afraid.
