Well which is it?! is this made in china or japan? the pictures show japanese writing but the two questions already asked contradict eachother.

The stapleless stapler is designed in Japan but made in china.

How many pages can it staple?

I was easily able to staple 7 sheets of 20lb paper; barely able to staple 9 sheets. Any more than that won't fit into the stapler.

Is it difficult to undo?

Not really. It can take a little fiddling, and sometimes something like a pencil might be helpful. If I've forgotten to add a sheet to the stack it's not too difficult to undo the staple and add another sheet by hand. I've now had this for almost 5 years and still use it regularly.

So can it only staple 10 pages at a time?

yes - seems like 8-10 max to me, before it gets stuck. Great product though.
