Cute, but installation not as described.
This clouds shelf is absolutely adorable. There were, however 3 big issues.1. The nails they provide to secure the shelving warped the wood and left an indent. We decided not to nail in the other side.2. The wooden slots that are supposed to just fit together did not. My husband had to sand them down, then they fit perfectly.3. There are no hanging fixtures on the back on the shelf. We are going to have to install something so that we can actually hang them, or use a sturdy double sided tape.Love the look! Just not as functional/easy as described online.

Not secure or safe for child’s room
Very cute and perfect size (hence the 2 stars), however the construction is terrible— especially for a child’s room. Step 1: The back panel of the shelf needs to be secured to the wall with provided hardware (so far, so good). Step 2: the next step is to slide the actual shelf piece into loosely fitted slots in the back panel that’s now on the wall (similar to a peg in a slot). These slots are open all the way to the wall so you can’t even use glue without risking glueing the shelf to your wall. The shelf easily falls off the back panel when bumped, and therefore it’s too dangerous for a child’s room. Unfortunately, this item is a return for me. Wish the manufacturer would improve the safety and construction, as the material is surprisingly good quality.

Expensive for what you get
Attempt #2 for reviewing this item. I don’t think the quality is that good considering what you pay for this. You assemble the three wooden pieces together (I expected it to come built as one piece?) but there are no instructions how to do so for the front piece. Comes with two screws for the back piece to be held to shelf, but I guess the little cloud in front doesn’t get any screws, doesn’t come with wood glue, and is not sturdy. Doesn’t make sense considering books may go on this. Only comes with one shelf, not two as shown in picture (be sure to read description).
