Derek Lam Rain Day - 5.9 oz EDP Spray

ME ENCANTA EL EMPAQUE, ADEMAS TIENE UN AROMA POCO COMUN, ES MUY ELEGANTE EL AROMA !!! DEFINITIVAMENTE HUELE A UN DIA DE LLUVIA EN UN BOSQUE ... MADERA HUMEDA CON FLORES!!!

The scent was not what I expected from the described profile, but I do admit it does remind me of an early evening rain (but if you are from Arizona it is not reminiscent of our monsoons). That being said, I was very disappointed by both the application and the longevity, or lack there of, of the scent itself throughout the day. The spray itself is more like a squirt, which might have contributed to how quickly the scent dissipated. I feel like if the spray was more of a mist similar to other perfumes then the scent could have covered a much larger area on my wrists. Using this perfume bottle will lead to using more product. The scent does not last, either. I wear a FitBit everyday and almost all of my other perfumes will cling to it for days on end. I could not smell this particular scent anywhere on my arm by the end of a work day. Very sad that it would have required lugging this huge bottle around with me to apply multiple times during the day for people to actually smell it.

The packaging is almost as delightful as the scent. As someone who is very particular about both aspects of a fragrance and who is epically female but doesn't care for overtly "feminine" looking or smelling products, this has been a rare and exciting find. The only reason why I haven't given Rain Day 5 stars, however, is that it really doesn't last. While I don't care for walking around in a smell-cloud, I do like to carry enough of my selected fragrance on my person that, let's say, if I were to leave a garment behind and my man friend were to take a deep inhale, he would discover a hint of Crosby there.

So, I came to buy this after falling in love with it on a perfume subscription service, and I'm not going to lie- I was skeptical. I'm so happy that I went for it anyway! This bottle is big, like bigger than I expected (pic included without lid), and the whole thing is completely full. It's not like a cheap component where the white plastic hides the fact that the bottle is short or anything like that, is what I mean. And it doesnt smell any different either. The longevity was pretty good before, so this is about the same, might do like a respritz halfway through the day. All in all, genuine to me!

This is my favorite. Beautiful smell,long lasting and a perfect size bottle. Be careful if it gets dropped like my cat did to mine it will break. I still can use mine just alittle hard since it's broking.
