The colour of this cast iron is so fun! It's capacity to hold alot of foods makes it the perfect one pit cooker. Very easy to clean and very sturdy handles on each side, so it's easy to take in and out of the oven.

Perfect condition. No defects, no cracks, no peels, no scratches, easy to remove burnt food at bottom too. Just leave it with water in the sink and wipes easily. I've used it to bake, grill, cook etc and its all good. Food cooks much faster too. I love it. Only that it's heavy :)

I bought this braiser because I wanted something beautiful enough to leave on the stove but sturdy enough to handle the absolute nonsense that occurs in my kitchen. Mission accomplished. This thing is a WORKHORSE. Brown the sausage on the stovetop? Yep. Dump in an irresponsible amount of sauce and cheese? Absolutely. Throw two bags of tortellini in there because a teenage boy lives in your house and apparently requires the caloric intake of a small lumberjack? She has room. Slap the lid on, put the entire thing directly into the oven, uncover it, add even more cheese, and broil it until you achieve bubbly golden perfection? SHE. DOES. IT. ALL. And cleanup? Shockingly painless considering the crime scene I created inside of it. Now, did we swap the original knob for a fancy iridescent metal one from another unnamed French cookware company? Yes. Yes we did. Because this braiser was already serving purple kitchen goddess, but she deserved a crown. 👑 The color is gorgeous, the size is fantastic, the handles are actually useful, it cooks beautifully, and I love being able to go straight from stovetop → oven → countertop without transferring anything to another dish. Also, please observe the photographic evidence: the tortellini came out looking like it pays taxes and owns property. 10/10. No notes. This pot has been promoted to upper management. I honestly reach for it more often than almost any other pan in my arsenal.
