If you mean net fabric as in net curtaining for example, yes. It is the right kind for the for rug hooking.

Can you put this in the washing machine if your making a rug

If using wool I wouldn’t, I washed mine by hand and drip dried

Yes otherwise it will look squashed

Do you get the hook with it?

Can’t remember, they may have sent a plastic one. Hooks are cheap to buy even online and you can get good quality ones. Mine are over 50 years old.
