Works great for my bee hives
This is exactly what I was looking for. Well made and great value for the money. I use it to siphon sugar water into the top feeders of my honey bee hives. Easy to clean and durable. Very happy with the versatility and performance of it!

Do Not Buy
This thing worked twice and now the ball gets stuck and wont prime. Buy the Made in America one! They are quality! And less expensive!

100% as good as I hoped
Don't believe the few bad reviews. This works very well and I'm glad I bought it. Whether it's true 1" tubing I can't confirm, but it is definitely nice fat tubing with a large check valve on the end, which makes very quick work of transferring fuel.I bought it to to drain the tank on my Can Am X3 Turbo R with a tune, so that I can switch back and forth between pump gas or race gas and change the tune. It drained the 10 gallon tank very quickly, actually was maybe 3/4 of a tank full, and took less than a minute to drain it.

Nah
I tested it with a bucket of water and draining it into the sink. The glass ball in the tip, which is supposed to pump the water out, got stuck repeatably in the front of the device. It did not work. So, it looks like I paid twenty bucks for 6 feet of plastic hose.

Unique siphon
It took a while to get the siphon to work because it had a sticky substance on the hose and the marble in the brass valve. I had to soak the brass valve in soapy water to free it up, then it worked very well. Great flow through the 1/2 tubing. Used to transfer water from rain barrels to watering cans.

You will never carry gas can and spill it again
Gas cans are NOT made for multiple uses for boats and the nozzle will bend or snap off or leak (leakproof is a misnomer). This is extremely easy to use. just set your can down (I have thrown away the pouring nozzle and use the cap on it now) insert the hose so that the end is lower than your gas can (mine goes about 2-3 feet down the gas receptacle on my 22 foot long grady-white.) shake the hose and that starts a siphon that empties the whole can. Tip the can a bit at the end and you will remove every drop. this is an essential purchase for any boat owner.

Genius!
The media could not be loaded. This is one of those grest little inventions that is incredibly simple yet amazingly effective. It works like a charm! :-)

Almost Great
Bought this to fill from 5 gallon jugs to a tractor. The smaller version worked but are much slower. This one goes like crazy IF/ONCE you get it going. The hose doesn't stay straight so it makes for a hard start. I zip tied it to a straight metal rod so you can suction all of the fluid. My unit doesn't seal 100% which allows some to trickle back and also makes for a harder start. One you get going it empties a 5 gallon (jegs) jug really quick.
