Works great and does not leave too much particles flying around once our cat has done his business. Just FYI, it does tend to get a bit heavy though compared to the other litter brands we have used in the past. So ensure you have a metal litter scooper, as our plastic one broke while trying to scoop (Metal scooper is much much better, definitely try if you haven't yet)

Hold the pee perfectly and it doesn't break. No smell and no dust. What more could a cat mom wants for a litter

Don't buy it!!! Bad smell and too much dust,don't know why too many people give good rate I buy a very big bag and now i want to refund it....

Outstanding cat litter, no bad odour, little or no dust (my wife is very impressed) and clumps very well. Works very well with the Neakasa M1 cat litter box. I would highly recommend this product.

I tried this litter because it was recommended by a friend. I was very surprised! It absorbs better then my old litter, there is next to no dust and it smells good. But the best recommendation comes from my 3 cats. They will only use the new litter, even with the old stuff sitting right beside it. The only problem I have is that that the new litter is heavy when its full and its really hard to remove their waste. We have a floor scraper we use to loosen the clamps and then they are easy to scoop out. I recommend this litter to all cat parents.

I have a multiple cat household & have tried just about every cat litter on the market. I have allergies and most cat litter really make them worse - the scents are too strong & they are really dusty. This litter is almost dust free. I know pretty much all cat litter manufacturers say that, but this is the only one that I would consider virtually dust free. The other "dust free litters leave a dust cloud in my house! I am very sensitive to litter dust & this is the only litter that doesnt bother me. Even though this litter says it is scented I dont notice any fragrance even when I am pouring it into the box - which is great for me because I am sensitive to fragrances. This litter clumps extreamly hard making it last longer than other brands because you can scoop out all of the soiled spots. It controls odor very well without masking odor with heavy fragrance. The only complaint I have is that it clumps so hard that the clumps sometimes stick to the box if cats urinate quite a bit along the side or corner of the box. I never had any problems with that until the past year or so. I have 3 elderly kitties, one has CKD and one has diabetes (both are being treated/managed & frequently see their vet) but they do urinate more than they used to & usually both go in one corner of the litterbox. Those larger litter clumps stick to the box. I have found sprinkling a little baking soda on the bottom of the box before adding litter keeps the urine clumps from sticking to the box & makes scooping easier. But if you dont have cats with health problems that cause more urine output & you scoop the box regularly you probably wont have that problem anyway.

Dr Else is one of the best cat litter I used. I prefer the unscented but Amazon they do not have the size i wanted and went for the scented 40 pounds. It is the only one that keep my bottom of my cat litter box clean and dry. It is not wet with urine or " cat pellets." As long you use the right amount of litter in the box. it is very easy to scoop all the 'stuff from the cat" everything is taken from the cat box, nothing is left in the box. I highly recommend it this product. The price is great for their quality and efficacy and very absorbent. I always buy Dr Elsey cat litter , sometimes I buy 3 in a order because I am afraid they runout the size I like it.

I am a two cat household (small apartment) and I have tried numerous cat litters, including the overpriced pretty litter that changes color! This product is by far my favourite since it both clumps well and keep smells at bay!! I purchased both this Dr.Elsey scented (purple bag) 40lbs bag and the Dr.Elsey attract(red bag) 40lbs bag and I mix the two. I have one cat who has FIC and is prone to going outside of the litter box. Since getting this litter she has not had a single accident outside of the litter box. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don’t find the scented litter very scented which I wanted in order to conceal the poop smell a bit. This litter definitely conceals urine smell 100% but if your cat doesn’t fully cover it’s poop it doesn’t conceal the smell which is no fault of the litter. This litter does not crumble when you sift like some of the arm&hammer litters. Also I have one XL litter box and one medium litter box and two 40lbs bags have lasted me 2 months so far and I still have some left. Best litter at the best price! Buy on Amazon and not in store so that way you don’t have to lug 40lbs bag of litter to your place, it’s just dropped off at the door.
