If you want to protect your remote from damages due to impact, then you might consider creating a "cushion" or buffer for the remote and then shrink wrapping them together in the sleeve. This should hold the cushion in place, too.

How do I change the battery? Do I tear off the lid from the battery department to replace batteries?

Ither you do that or just replace with a new wrap, anyway the batteries will take months until you need to replace them , and also you are getting 100 pieces of wrapping bags
