We’ve been using this since it arrived and have been really pleased with it. It heats up quickly, the controls are very easy to use and the material is lovely and soft. You can feel the wires if you deliberately look for them, but during normal use they aren’t uncomfortable or particularly noticeable.We mainly use it as a throw over the sofa to create a heated seat on cold evenings, and it works brilliantly for that. It’s also been straightforward to wash and has stayed nice and soft.One thing I would be careful of is letting it bunch up or trapping anything inside it while it’s running on a high setting. We accidentally had a TV remote wrapped up in it once and it became extremely hot, with the remote battery later swelling. Since then we’ve just made sure the blanket is kept reasonably flat and nothing is left wrapped inside it.Despite that, we really like it and would happily buy another.

My mum had received one of these for a Christmas gift. I was also offered one but declined because I didn’t think I would use it. How wrong I was! After trying it once I was on Amazon straight away. The heated blanket is like slipping into a warm bath. I am a naturally cold person and most nights I cannot wait to get under my blanket in front of the telly. It’s such a joy.The heat settings are good with a range from 1 to 6. 6 is too hot, 3 or a 4 being optimum. Obviously the parts of the blanket with the heating element get the hottest, but it seems fairly well distributed and so hot spots can be avoided in the main. There is a timer function with auto shut off so you can choose between an hour, 3 hours or 9 hours.The feel of the blanket is a lightweight and soft fleece. It can be washed in the machine if you unplug the control and is not too bulky to put through a washing machine at home. I believe that there is a more expensive blanket with a ribbed design which is a little more bulky but I am happy with this one.As soon as I get this out the dog jumps up on the sofa in readiness. He knows what’s good.I believe that this doesn’t consume much energy and so can be a God send in homes without much heating, or for the elderly or ill who feel the cold.I’ve had it a good long while now with no issues. It seems safe although I always unplug when done.Recommend to all.

Brought this for my daughter as a gift, but the whole family pinch it and use it! Soft, so warm and luxurious - perfect for in the winter months!

This Dreamland Electric throw is very soft and snuggly, but it’s only big enough for one person. We had to buy two. It’s very soft on the skin and heats up quickly. It has a heating temperature between one to six. We find number four is nice and warm. It keeps its warmth to the hours set and simple to operate. The only drawback, is that it only allows three time settings. One hour, three hours or nine hours. It would be more beneficial, if you could set the hours that you prefer. However, it’s still a lovely electric blanket and would recommend it.

Excellent product, good value

I cannot recommend this throw rug,The fabric feels great, it warms up nice and cosy, the controls are good.BUT the cable from the controller to the blanket must be made differently, within a month of use that part of the cable split dangerously exposing the internal wires in several places.I have had two of these, one was a gift and the second one bought myself as when it works it's great and I thought perhaps I was unlucky getting a split cable.Nope, exactly the same issue with both, poor quality cabling between the controller and the blanket itself.

Repeat purchase. I use mine all the time. I have bought it as a present many times and the recipients repeatedly tell me that it one of the most useful gifts that they have ever received.

I couldn’t do without this heated blanket. It was a bit more expensive than some of the others but this came with a 2 year guarantee so felt safe knowing i could return if needed. The blanket is sufficiently large enough to wrap around/ cover an adult body with a variety of heat settings and timer so you can choose how warm and length of time. I have had it on 3 hours timer and no. 6 heat setting which has been more than enough - probably too hot for too long! It’s been especially cold these past few months in the Uk so this has been just what we needed to keep warm and cosy without having to have any heating on! I bought the mustard colour which is a good thickness although the wires can still be felt in some areas. I bought another in grey for my husband. An excellent purchase and would buy again
