Q: Does the pack have a chest strap?

I wasn't sure, but I checked my pack and it does have a chest strap as well as a wide strat that goes around the bottom of the pack that snaps in front. I'm very happy with this pack that I use as my "GO" pack. I gave each of my kids and my driving grandkids this pack for Christmas last year, full of survival gear.

Q: is it waterproof or water resistant Im traveling to a country where it rains a lot and Im doing a lot of water activities will it keep my stuff dry?

Just water resistant,but we got rain cover in each backpack,suitable for light rain.
