Bon ouvrage très complet. Je recommande. Seul bémol, le livre est arrivé avec un coin corné.

This book is really clear and useful. It contains a lot of code and examples to develop a full-completed application. It answer all the question that a developer faces while programming. I bought just to learn Tkinter but I find it useful for other aspect of the programming fron the start to the end. It worth the price.

Generally a good book covering interesting aspects of tkinter. Most of the programs are for demonstration purposes only and if you play with them for awhile you'll find many bugs. For example, in the text editor (chapter) you'll find at least the following:1) The scroll bar covers up the last couple characters of the text box.2) The line numbers do not handle the wrap='word' condition correctly. This one seems hard to fix but it would be worth the author's time to mention it.3) The status line leaves a ghost if you scroll.4) If you read in a file larger than the window the line numbers again do not work properly.

I most appreciated the volume of detail represented by the scripts and overviews in the book. It took awhile to get through it all but I must say that each project was quite an eye opener as to the scope of Tkinter usage. Definitely need to download the examples zip file.
