Great leveled readers.

Purchased as a gift for students of an elementary school. They are perfect for beginning readers and offer enough variety to keep them interested.

My four year old student was extremely delighted to collect the books and indulge in reading. Unfortunately it did not take her long to read them all. The pictures are indicative of the text so there is always a prompt from the picture. The words and sentences are repetitive so that the child gets confidence and joy at the same time. The only problem is that the collection includes 5 copies of each book, which is designed to be used in classroom.

Love love love these books and I use them in my pre- k program. Each child receive a book to take home so they can start their own library as well as a love for reading.
