Curious...if the product is made in france, why are the directions in a different language than french and/or english? just where is this stuff made?

Um. The bottles of this that I have are wearing back labels in French, with instructions in French and indicate “made in France” by Avel, like all Saphir products. Maybe the bottle you’re looking at was made for export to Asia? Quite possible. By the way, it works well. It’s top level stuff, like all Saphir products.

Was going to get rubber sole protectors for gucci loafers but someone suggested this. Does this really protect the soles of leather shoes that well?

Is this safe for all soles regardless of color?

I believe it is. I have never had it alter the color of any sole I put it on. I only put it on bottom of sole, not the sides, but would expect the same outcome.

If it's made of vegetable oil, does it expire?

Um ... Not that I've seen. Seems to be valid and useable as long or longer than the Saphir creme and paste. All good!!
